A couple of months ago, I was engaged by the luxury of luxury brands, Max Mara, to illustrate at their VIP client events in some of their stores around Australia. For anyone who isn’t up to speed on the Max Mara brand, let me deliver a short biography below:
Max Mara is an Italian fashion label, established in 1951 in Reggio Emilia by Achille Maramotti. Max Mara is celebrated for its unwavering stance on quality, design and reputation and is a front-runner for luxury brands. It deserves a great deal of respect and applause.
Being approached by a brand of this calibre was both humbling and exciting. Head stylists, merchandisers, buyers and operation managers from Max Mara’s Italian head quarters had flown over especially for these VIP events and I was fortunate enough to be included as part of the team too.
I was engaged to illustrate fashion portraits of the Max Mara outfits, styled by their uber creative head stylists and dressed on their darling customers. Of course, that was my main focus. HOWEVER to be asked how I was enjoying my time in Australia and whereabouts in Italy was I originally from, really was the icing on the cake!
It’s hard to explain why these events were so exciting, without giving away all of Max Mara’s secret’s, so instead I will say this:
Max Mara knows ‘how to do’ customer service and does so in the most beautifully warm, sophisticated, respectful and welcoming way possible.
Thanks for inviting me to be a part of the Max Mara team for the week, Max Mara. It was an absolute pleasure. xx
